The Holidays have begun..

Hello everyone.. I have already atended my first Holiday party. Here is my Daughter and her cousin Rocco..

He was not having this photo shoot that's for sure! After attending the first of many parties this Holiday Season..  it has gotten me really in the mood for Christmas. I love to do trades to kick things off... and here is the one for this Gal..Julie Collings. We tend to trade every year around this time. I am so lucky! She has the most amazing style! It is a early Christmas present when her sweet package arrives.. the best part: She has a Etsy shop where you can purchase these amazing goodies! It also inspires me to put things in my shop ... Here is what I made for her...

Thank you for inspiring me!! If you have not been to this site yet.. you need to go! So many tutorials that have been pinned by me... Here is what I did yesterday... Pillows for the sofa. I got the idea from this pin..script pillow tutorial. It lead me to more pins and then I took them all and made some of my own...

Here are some of the pillows.. also that sweater candle cozy.... you got it, pinterest! Close up of the pillows...

The ideas were flowing yesterday.. a rainy day. I bought pillows from the Goodwill for 1.99 each.. washed them in hot, hot water ( a little bleach). I made pillows from  a drop cloth I from Big Lots (a pin idea I found) for $10.00. The monogram pillow is just a iron on I did from my computer, the pillow with our names are stamped with Staz-on ink, and the ruffled pillow is ruffles I took from a old skirt Darianne grew out of! 

I also made Leg warmers from a thrifted Sweater...Got the idea here Sweater pin...

And Sweater  candle cozy from the same pin...

Made some Sweater leg warmers from the sleeves... very cozy, even though my little one laughed at them!

And from this pin Easy pumpkin muffins... they are so good! 

The family likes them.. they just came out of the oven and three were gone before I even got them out of the tin..

Hello there...

It's been a while since I made something for my Etsy Shop. I was in school for a year, which made it pretty impossible to do anything else. Its also been a ride since I opened my Etsy shop in 2006. Lots of happiness, and some dissapointments. I love to sell things that are original, but if you want to know the truth its hard work. I kept waiting and waiting, procrastinating is what others call it. I finally got inspired to share some things that make me happy to put in my shop..  but my journal kits make me the happiest!
